When generations come together wonderful things happen. And that’s what occurred when two Badger High School groups came to Village Glen and Arbor Village for a holiday gathering this week. NHS students helped us decorate Christmas cookies from Blackbird Bakery, and FFA students helped us decorate gingerbread houses.
But perhaps the biggest gift was all the connections made and learning of each other's life stories. Experiences that will last well beyond the holidays. We are so grateful for each student thinking of us, and the time they spend with everyone each year. Just as we are thankful for Tom Stanfield capping off this joyous week with his special brand of entertainment.
No matter one's age, we all have something to give as well as to be grateful for receiving.
